Dallas Now Controls Series Momentum

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-108 on Tuesday night, taking a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference first-round series. The Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic's 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 27 points and 13 rebounds.

The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than 10 points at any point. The Mavericks took a 10-point lead in the third quarter, but the Timberwolves rallied to tie the game at 85 entering the fourth. The Mavericks then took a 7-point lead in the fourth quarter, but the Timberwolves again rallied to tie the game with just over a minute remaining. Doncic then hit a jumper to give the Mavericks a 109-106 lead with 35 seconds remaining, and the Timberwolves were unable to score on their final possession.

The Mavericks now have a 2-0 lead in the series and will host Game 3 on Thursday night. The Timberwolves will need to win at least one game in Dallas to force the series back to Minnesota.
